CSIR-Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-CEERI), Pilani is a premier research and development Institute in the field of Electronics established under the aegis of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) established in 1953. It undertakes multi-disciplinary R&D activities and projects in the broad areas, namely: (1) Advanced Information Technologies Group (AITG); (2) Integrated Circuits and Systems Group (ICSG); (3) Industrial Automation Group (IAG); (4) Vacuum Electron Devices Group (VEDG); (5) High-Frequency Devices and System Group (HFDSG); (6) High-Power Microwave Systems Group (HPMSG); (7) Semiconductor Sensors and Microsystems Group (SSMG); (8) Semiconductor Process Technology Group (SPTG); (9) Institute R and D Facility Group (IRDFG). CSIR-CEERI also has extension centres at Chennai and Jaipur.
