machines, plywood, sunmica, plywood grade, ornamentation of timber, diseases in timber

and decay of timber, preservation of timber,

Portable machines, estimation of materials,  calculation of legs, plank and boards,

multipurpose or universal wood working machine, design of furniture ( library, classrooms,

office etc…) & ( living room, dining rooms, bed rooms, kitchen Etc….) 

•BASIC FITTING 
Elements of files, cut of files, file shapes & grades length measurements, chisels, hacksaw, brill, cutting speed and RPM, Vernier calliper’s, angel plates, parallel blocks, DIE and die stock blank size of external threading,    

•BASIC SHEET METAL WORK
Stake and their uses, wooden formers, the hand lever punch, types of shears, punches uses for punching holes, soldering iron & flux, development of pattern layout, radial line development,  types of welding, welding (fusion and non fusion and pressure)
•SIMPLE PATTERN MAKING
Pattern making, pattern making hand tools, blueprint reading, types of timber used in pattern making, advantages and disadvantages  of wood pattern, pattern allowance, types of pattern, types of core print, types of core boxes, the dowel pin, pattern colour code as per BIS(ISI),
•WOOD WORK CONSRACTIONS
Door frames, hinges, hasp and staple, locks and fitting, the window, roofs, trussed roofs, wooden stairs, wooden floors, wooden partition, 
•REPAIRE AND RECONDITIONING OF WOOD WORK

Use of nails, screws, angle plates, bracket, bolt anchors, cabinets and counter tops, packing cases, types of cores pertaining to ply wood, glossary of technical terms in carpentry,
