Cochin Shipyard Limited apprentice 2023

 Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a listed premier Miniratna Company of Government of India, invites Online Applications from Indian citizens fulfilling the eligibility requirements, for two year Apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

Rigger Trainee Pass in VIII Std. Graduates or Diploma holders or persons having such other higher qualifications are not eligible

II. Important Dates: 

Commencement of Online Application : 29 June 2023 

Last Date of Online Application : 14 July 2023 

Period of training: 

a) The period of training shall be for two years. However, depending upon organisational requirements, availability of vacancies and individual performance, successful candidates may be considered for appointment on contract basis, at the discretion of CSL. 

Age: 

a) The applicant’s age should be minimum 18 years and shall not exceed 20 years as on last date of online application (14 July 2023), i.e. date of birth of the applicants shall be any date in the period 15 July 2003 to 15 July 2005.

Method of Selection: 

a) The method of selection shall include, Phase I - Objective type online test and Phase II Physical Test, as detailed under:- 

Method of selection and Marks 

i. Phase I: Objective Type Online test - 50 Marks 

ii. Phase II : Physical Test - 50 marks Total - 100 marks
