National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) is one of the constituent Centres of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space (DOS) responsible for the Ground Segment of Remote Sensing Programme through Satellite Data Acquisition, Archival, Processing, Dissemination, Remote Sensing Applications, Training and Capacity Building. It has five Regional Centres located at Bengaluru, Nagpur, Kolkata, Jodhpur and New Delhi to address region/area specific Remote Sensing application needs. The Earth Station located at Shadnagar is being developed as a full-fledged Centre to carry out the entire chain of Remote Sensing activities.

Place of Posting :
The selected candidates are likely to be posted at NRSC - Earth Station, Shadnagar campus, Rangareddy District, Telangana State or at NRSC, Balanagar, Hyderabad or at Regional Remote Sensing Centre-Central (Nagpur), Regional Remote Sensing CentreNorth (New Delhi), Regional Remote Sensing Centre-East (Kolkata), Regional Remote Sensing Centre-West (Jodhpur), Regional Remote Sensing Centre- South (Bengaluru). However, employees are likely to be posted in any of the Centres/units of the Indian Space Research Organisation/Department of Space. NRSC reserves the right to post the candidates anywhere in India as and when required.
Application Fee:
There is a non-refundable Application Fee of ₹100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) for each application. However, initially all candidates have to uniformly pay ₹ 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) per application as processing fee. The Processing fee will be refunded only to candidates who appear in the written test, as under:-
₹ 500/- :i.e refund in full for candidates who are exempted from payment of Application Fee (women, SC/ST/ PwBD, Ex-Servicemen).
₹400/- :i.e after deducting the Application Fee in respect of all other candidates.
Selection Process:
The mode of Selection will be Written Test and Skill test. The Written Test will be conducted in such a way that theoretical and practical knowledge of the candidate is tested covering both breadth and depth of the prescribed curriculum of the relevant trade.
How to apply:
Applications will be received on-line only.
The application for on-line registration will be hosted in NRSC website from 09.12.2023 (10:00 hours) to 31.12.2023 (17:00 hours).
Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an on-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference. E-mail ID and Mobile Number of the applicant are to be furnished in the application correctly and compulsorily
Application has to be necessarily submitted within the due date (31.12.2023)
